Real Madrid took the lead through Luka Modric's goal. But Sevilla managed to equalize through Eric Lamela's goal. But Los Blancos took the lead thanks to goals from Lucas Vazquez and Federico Valverde.

Thanks to this victory, Real Madrid are increasingly comfortable at the top of the La Liga standings with 31 points from 11 matches. Meanwhile, Sevilla had to settle for being in 14th place with 10 points from 11 matches.

First round

The match, which was held at the Santiago Bernabeu, started with a moderate tempo. Both teams are still careful to build their attacks.

Only five minutes into the game, Real Madrid managed to score their first goal in this match. Starting from Vinicius Junior who managed to snatch the ball from Montiel, he ran into the penalty box and then released a pull bait which was completed by Luka Modric. The score changed to 1-0 for Madrid's advantage.

Entering the second half, the game was not much different from the first half. Real Madrid still dominated the match while Sevilla focused on defending and releasing the counter-attack.
