Chelsea sign Leicester's Fofana in £75m deal
Chelsea have completed the signing of Leicester centre-back Wesley Fofana in a deal worth £75m, with the defender signing a seven-year contract.

Chelsea will pay an initial £70m, with a further £5m possible in add-ons.

Leicester and Chelsea agreed a fee for Fofana on Saturday, with the defender flying to the USA on Monday for his medical.

Chelsea had made three previous bids for Fofana which were all swiftly rejected by Leicester - two in excess of £60m and one believed to be £60m plus £10m in add-ons.

Auba continues Chelsea talks despite jaw fracture

Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang suffered a minor fracture of his jaw in the attack on his home over the weekend.

He is expected to be out of action for three weeks. Aubameyang can resume non-contact training next week.

Chelsea are aware and sympathetic of his situation. It is thought the injury will not impact a potential transfer as talks continue between Chelsea and Barcelona to get a deal done.

Gordon set to stay at Everton
Anthony Gordon won't be leaving Everton this summer despite strong interest from Chelsea, and we're told there has not been a point where the club have considered the possibility of him being sold.

The Everton hierarchy have been resolute in their determination to keep the talented 21-year-old at Goodison Park, despite two strong bids from Chelsea, which were both flatly rejected.

Frank Lampard told the Everton board that he didn't want Gordon to leave as early as June when there was interest from Spurs and Newcastle.

Hudson-Odoi makes Leverkusen loan switch
Callum Hudson-Odoi has joined Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan deal.

The forward had been an unused substitute in Chelsea's last three Premier League fixtures. The Blues have the option to recall Hudson-Odoi in January.

Hudson-Odoi said: "The move to Germany is really exciting for me and I can play in the Champions League with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. That combination is really attractive and I'm keen to get to know the club, the fans and the Bundesliga. Kai Havertz only had good things to say about it to me in the Chelsea dressing room."

Barkley leaves Chelsea by mutual consent
Ross Barkley has left Chelsea by mutual consent and becomes a free agent.

The midfielder, who joined from Everton in January 2018, made 100 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, scoring 12 goals.

Chelsea said in a statement: "We would like to thank Ross for his contribution to Chelsea and wish him well for the rest of his career."
