Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni announced the names he called up for the two friendlies this September. There are seven strikers called Scaloni, including Lionel Messi.

Argentina will play a test match ahead of the 2022 World Cup against Honduras and Jamaica. These two matches were all held in the United States, respectively in Miami and New Jersey.

Scaloni called a total of 28 names. In this list there are no four names that had previously entered the squad. They are Juan Musso, Lucas Martinez, Exequiel Palacios, and Nicolas Gonzalez.
