Liverpool dominated the game, also creating more chances than the hosts. However, Liverpool failed to pack maximum points. They must be content to share one point.

In the second half, marked by a number of changes, Liverpool played better on the offensive side. They created more chances, also had more shots on goal. However, none of Liverpool's shots were lodged in the home goal.
