The riddle of who the new Chelsea manager is will soon be revealed. The Blues are reportedly working on a move for Graham Potter from Brighton.

In their official statement, Chelsea confirmed that they were hunting for a new manager. They hope to complete the transfer of the new manager as soon as possible.

Chelsea reportedly had special reasons why they wanted Potter. They were impressed by the manager's track record.
Potter has been in charge of Brighton for the last three years. Under his cold hands, the Seagulls became a dangerous team of dark horses.
Until the sixth week of the EPL, Brighton are in fourth place in the EPL standings, two places ahead of Chelsea. So they thought Potter would be a good option as their tactician.
Already Got Permission
The report also claims that Chelsea's efforts to sign Potter have not been one-sided. Brighton have given Chelsea permission to discuss with the manager.
Potter is reported to be flying to London today. He will directly meet with Todd Boehly and Chelsea directors for an interview.
If the manager is able to impress Boehly and the Chelsea directors, then the manager will immediately be signed as the new Chelsea boss.
Transfer dowry
Chelsea have also reportedly had to pay compensation to Brighton. This is because Potter is still under contract at AMEX Stadium until 2025.
The Blues are rumored to have to shell out around 15 million pounds to use the services of the manager.
