Manchester United's new right-back
Erik ten Hag did not field his normal starting xi in the duel against the Sheriff. However, in the second half, the Dutch coach made a quite unique experiment. Ten Hag played Malacia at right-back.
In the 70th minute, Ten Hag pulled out Diogo Dalot and played Luke Shaw. Ten Hag replaced the right-back with a left-back. Well, Malacia was then shifted to right-back, replacing Dalot's duties.

Still Needing a Right-back, Ten Hag?
Manchester United are reportedly still in need of a new right-back. They were not quite satisfied with the existence of Diogo Dalot. Meanwhile, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not included in Erik ten Hag's main plan. Wan-Bissaka actually wanted to be released at the beginning of last season.
United are reportedly approaching Santiago Arias. The former Atletico Madrid right-back is on a free transfer and can be signed outside the transfer market.
