Top Four Strikers Competing in the 2022/2023 Bundesliga - The return of Timo Werner in the Bundesliga, adds to the heat of competition on the front lines of the 2022/23 Bundesliga. Werner will also be competing with several other top strikers.

In the transfer market yesterday, Werner received the blessing of Chelsea management to withdraw from Stamford Bridge. The Blues again sold him to his former club RB Leipzig, for a transfer fee of 25 million pounds.

Werner seemed to be a solace for the Bundesliga, which was left by Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland. Not to mention there is a striker of the caliber of Sadio Mane who has joined Bayern Munich this season.

Including the two players above, here are the four players who will compete to become the top strikers in the 2022/23 Bundesliga.

Nicholas Fullkrug

Niclas Fullkrug became a key player for Werder Bremen as a promotion team in the Bundesliga. The German has scored five goals in seven appearances for Die Werderaner in the 2022/23 Bundesliga.

The former Hannover 96 also became the third player in the Bundesliga to score 24 shots. Then, he is also able to become a mainstay striker in coach Ole Werner's scheme.

Niclas F├╝llkrug has played 105 games in his career in the Bundesliga. Of these, he has won 27 matches. He has also scored 33 goals during his campaign in the Bundesliga.

Luke Nmecha

Lukas Nmecha has scored three goals and is paired with the names of Sadio Mane, Kerem Demirbay, to Marcus Thuram. Reporting from the Bundesliga page, Nmecha has made 10 shots on goal.

The 23-year-old has made seven appearances in the Bundesliga. Although Die Wolfe fell in the relegation zone, Nmecha has so far managed to show performance as a top striker in the Bundesliga.

Thanks to his performance, the German national team coach Hansi Flick was attracted and brought him to the UEFA Nations League yesterday.

Timo Werner

Timo Werner is starting to rebuild his reputation as a top striker after failing at Chelsea. Werner has made nine appearances in all competitions for RB Leipzig so far, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

In fact, he immediately opened the tap on his first goal of the season in the RB Leipzig match against SC Freiburg. In that match Werner listed his name on the scoreboard in the 36th minute through a long-range shot and could not be anticipated perfectly by goalkeeper Marvin Schwabe.

Then, Werner did not take long to score his first hat-trick with Die Rotten Bullen this season. In the DFB-Pokal event, he successfully delivered RB Leipzig to an 8-0 victory over Teutonia Ottensen.

Thanks to him scoring a hat-trick in that match, Werner could not hide his happiness and considered himself to be 'born again'.

Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane did not take long to adapt in the German Bundesliga. The new Bayern Munich bomber has collected three goals from seven matches.

Previously, this Senegalese player was brought in by Bayern from Liverpool in the summer of 2022. Mane was redeemed for 32 million euros and signed a three-year contract at the Allianz Arena.

The Bavarians project Mane as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski who left to Barcelona. So far, Mane has been able to answer that belief with top performances on the pitch.
