According to the report, Kante is not interested in a move to Real Madrid. Because he knew he would only be the number two player there.
Real Madrid currently have two good young defensive midfielders. The two are Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Kante thinks he will only be a coating for the two young midfielders. So he is not interested in moving to Madrid.
Defensive Focus
According to the same report, Kante is also actually not interested in leaving Chelsea.
The midfielder feels comfortable playing at the West London club. He wants to stay longer with Chelsea.
So now he and his agent are working on getting him a new contract in the Blues squad, because his contract expires in the summer of 2023.
