Oman vs Germany Result: Score 0-1

49erssports.com - Germany beat Oman with a narrow score of 1-0 in the final warm-up match before the 2022 World Cup. The match was played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Muscat, Thursday (17/11/2022).

This match is the last test match before entering the 2022 World Cup tournament. It's only natural that Hansi Flick will take advantage of this match to warm up the German team's engine.

Evidently, Germany has not really played optimally in this match. They had difficulty breaking into the opponent's goal because of the less effective finishing.

Germany's only goal came from Niclas Fullkrug's action in the 80th minute. Oman fought back well, but could not score a goal back.

This result is good enough for Hansi Flick's troops to welcome the 2022 World Cup grand tournament.

First round

The game started, Germany immediately took the initiative to attack. Oman is locked in the territory to play alone and must wait for a counterattack.

Even so, the first half passed with Germany's difficulties dismantling the opposing team's defense. Only a few mature opportunities created by Germany, even though their attacks were getting sharper as the game progressed.

Havertz's kick can be stopped by Al Mukhaini. Moukoko's shot at the end of the first half still hit the post. Score 0-0 to escort the players to the locker room.

Second round

In the second half, Hansi Flick made many substitutions. Germany must maintain the tempo of the attack if they want to try to break through the opponent's goal.

The German attacks clearly made it difficult for Oman. Pelaugn came and went from Hofmann, Kimmich and Havertz. Germany's failure actually made Oman free to fight back.

The 80th minute, the German onslaught finally led to a goal. Havertz penetrated the opponent's defense and found the ball for Fullkrug. Once confounded, Fullkrug fired a low shot to outwit the opposing keeper. Goal! Oman 0-1 Germany.

The last 10 minutes Germany kept trying to attack, but Oman was able to keep their defense pretty well. Score 1-0 for Germany's victory.
