Targeted by Chelsea, Milan Finally Sets Rafael Leao's Selling Price -
AC Milan have reportedly told Chelsea they have to pay £88 million if they want Rafael Leao's services.

From day to day, Leao's performance with AC Milan is getting better. He is now an important pillar of Milan.

Leao also transformed into one of the best strikers in Europe. So do not be surprised if the 23-year-old player is starting to be noticed by other big European clubs that have better financial strength.

Chelsea Really Wants Rafael Leao

Another club that reportedly also wants Rafael Leao is Chelsea. In fact, they are said to want Leao more than Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea do have a shortage of strikers. In attack they only have Pierre-Emerick Aubameang and Armando Broja.

Sometimes they put Kai Havertz as a center forward. He plays the false nine.

The rest are wingers. Call it Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech.

Leao itself can not only be used at the left wing post. He can be used as a center forward.

Great News for Chelsea

Now there is good news for Chelsea in the hunt for Rafael Leao. Reportedly AC Milan is ready to release the star.

This news is claimed by Calciomercato. Milan has reportedly set a price tag of £88 million on Leao.

Milan is also said to be ready to release Leao in January 2023. The report also claims what reasons the Rossoneri are ready to let go of the winger.

Milan struggled to convince Leao to sign his new contract at San Siro. Now his tenure at the Rossoneri remains until 2024 only.

Meanwhile for Chelsea, spending £ 88 million is unlikely to be too much of a problem. Moreover, Leao is still young and can be a long-term asset for the Blues.

Milan looking for a replacement for Leao

AC Milan itself is reportedly ready to lose Rafael Leao. They have been looking for a suitable candidate to replace the winger.

One name has reportedly been pocketed by Milan. The Rossoneri are said to be eyeing Salzburg striker Noah Okafor.

The price of Okafor itself will not be too expensive, which is around 35-40 million euros. Milan can make up for it after selling Leao.

But they have a pretty big obstacle. Milan have to compete against Liverpool and Manchester City to bring Okafor.
