Ballon d'Or 2022 Final Ranking: Karim Benzema Wins, Cristiano Ronaldo Only Ranks 20 - The 2022 Ballon d'Or winner has been announced. Real Madrid star Karim Benzema won the world's best player award at a gala event held in Paris, Tuesday (18/10/2022) early morning WIB.

Benzema managed to beat Bayern Munich striker Sadio Mane who was ranked second in the final standings.

This is the first Ballon d'Or title for Benzema. The 34-year-old striker became the first Frenchman to win the Ballon d'Or since Zinedine Zidane in 1998.
