Beautiful World Cup goal: Kolarov's free-kick that hits the Costa Rica goal - The World Cup is a huge tournament that is almost always marked by beautiful goals. One of them was the goal scored by captain Aleksandar Kolarov for Serbia against Costa Rica at the 2018 World Cup.

Serbia entered Group E at the 2018 World Cup. Serbia is in the same group with Brazil, Switzerland and Costa Rica.

Serbia's first match was against Costa Rica at the Cosmos Arena, Samara, 17 June 2018. Serbia won 1-0.

The only goal that decided Serbia's victory against Costa Rica which was guarded by Keylor Navas was scored by Kolarov in the 56th minute. The defender, who was then 32, and at that time playing for club AS Roma, hit the Costa goal with a free kick with his left foot.
